Thank you for contacting me to express your concern over allegations of President-Elect Obama's natural birth in the United States. I appreciate hearing from you.
President-Elect Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, at 7:24 pm and is therefore an American citizen and eligible to assume the office of President of the United States. All court cases that claim to the contrary have been rejected. I look foward to working with President Obama in the years to come.
