See, I have these missing pieces that are holding me up, and I was wondering sir, if you could take time out of your busy schedule and help me out. You know, no big deal, just some loose ends and things.

Hi,
This piece is from an orginal work from my copyrighted blog, which was lifted by a not so honest person --who in turn sent it viral via email without proper credits. Since then, it has cropped up at various sites of nice folks like you, who have no idea it was lifted.

I am a writer and I take my property seriously, whether in real life or on my blog, so I did a plagiarism trace on this and several other pieces in order to correct the postings on various blogs and sites.
My assumption here is that an innocent person got it from somebody...who got it from somebody....who ultimately removed it from my blog. You are one of those innocent people as is the person you got it from. I'm just here to let you know that it was lifted and to ask you to provide proper credits.
I put a lot of thought into my work, whether in life or on my blog, so I know you will appreciate what I am saying.
While I have no objection to others posting my work, it should posted as the original was written, and be block quoted with a citation link to my blog as shown below:
